Some practice portrait pieces I did last summer to learn how to paint and shade figures. I was going to wait until I finished the second one to post them but WHO KNOWS IF THAT WILL EVER HAPPEN so here you go.
Artist tip: drawing from life is way harder than drawing from pictures! Figure drawing was a rude awakening.

i have to ask if you have any basic tips, about programs to use or brushes or things ;w;
because with just the photoshop elements I have I cant seem to paint without it looking reeeally bad/low quality.
I know a lot is just practice, and I know taking an actual painting class will help me, but tips are always good!
