Haha, jk jk. I love you Iggy, but I value my life….
In all seriousness though, I’d probably have to choose…. Greece.
I like a lot of different kinds of ethnic foods, but none of those characters are the kinds of people I’d want to put in the kitchen. Like, I love Italian food but who in their right mind would trust Feli in a kitchen by himself? And I also like Japanese food, but I’d feel bad making Kiku cook for me…
So Greece. Even if he’s not a professional chef, he’s been around long enough to know what he’s doing and I’ve heard so many good things about Greek food that I’d want to try the real thing for myself.
This one threw me off a bit. I mean, I’ve never contemplated this before lol
I thought through a number of different countries as per usual, and surprised myself by ending at Italy.
The decision may or may not be related to the S.O.S. episodes…. but the idea of camping with Feli just seemed fun! Yea he’d probably find himself in trouble at some point, but we don’t have anything dangerous enough to worry about where I live, so it’s all good :3
We could go on hikes and sing campfire songs and all the fun things. It’d be great
Alice N’Kom is one of the only attorneys in Cameroon who defends people who’ve been jailed for the “crime” of being gay.
In the last 2 weeks, gay men have been snatched from their homes and public places and thrown in jail just for being gay. The situation is approaching a crisis and Alice told us she and her colleagues are ready to confront the President to demand the release of those arrested and an end to laws that make being gay a crime. But she needs the support of people around the world:
“I need to show the president of Cameroon that the world is behind me”.
Please sign the urgent letter, then ask your friends and family to do the same. Alice and her colleagues are brave enough speak out, and it only takes a minute to add your voice and to make theirs even stronger.
if you do have the chance to give this a sign, consider it. and, if you feel the need to give it a signal boost, that would be great too!
Is it any surprise that I’m having a hard time picking one character for this? No? Didn’t think so.
So, once again, I’m gonna say a it could be either/or of 2 characters. These two characters are Lithuania and Hungary.
I’m not even gonna explain Hungary since she’s been the answer to like, 5 other days on here….
Lithuania is new though. I personally love Liet as a character - he’s sweet and kind-hearted, and isnt super concerned by crossdressing generally very down-to-earth. He’s a bit introverted, but can speak for himself if needed. He’s a good compliment to Poland cuz i totally dont ship that or anything, and his similarities to me make me thing we’d get along well.
Oh, and did I mention we’d all be Ravenclaws should we be magically transported to Hogwarts?
Although, most of my real friends tend to be high energy, so maybe I’m going about this wrong, but meh. I’m gonna go with these guys :]
So as many would expect, my immediate reaction to this question was ZOMG FRANCE. But then I stopped myself and really thought it through. Yes, France is a raging perv who’ll try to get into anyone’s pants given time to swoon them. HOWEVER, because he likes to present himself as a gentleman, he would probably be pretty well-behaved around someone’s parents. Sure, he’d probably hit on them…. but he’d then just play it off as his being very kind and complimentary.
So I tried think of a person who would be unpleasant to have around in any sort of social situation… and came up with Belarus. When her brother is around, she’s a complete psychopathic maniac, which makes her completely terrifying. However, Russia is going to be nowhere near my parents, so her murderous tendencies would be at bay on a visit. What makes her unsuitable is how she is the rest of the time. She never seems to be in a good mood - she’s standoffish, very quiet, and seems like she never wants to be where she is, which are qualities I dont want to present to my parents.
After thinking about Belarus’s unsuitableness for a while, my mind wandered through other countries again, and made a grinding halt when it hit America. America. The most celf-centered, obnoxious, oblivious, high energy country in this show. My parents already have a somewhat lowered opinion of my ‘weird friends’. Imagine how I’d look if I brought Mr. Hero over for a visit? I’d forever be tagged as the daughter with the most weird and annoying friends in the world.
So in the end, my answer is Belarus and/or America. Both have qualities that would keep me from wanting them anywhere near my parents, both for entirely different reasons. Now, I’m not saying that I have a particular dislike for these characters, don’t get me wrong, I just wouldn’t wanna bring the home with me :)
and just for the record, no i dont ship this pairing, though you’re more than welcome to
Japan. This one was actually pretty easy to choose lol. He’s incredibly well-mannered, intelligent, kind, and so adorable! And unlike characters such as Austria who also fit some of that description, Japan’s personality is absolutely non-overbearing at all. Where Austria may come across as a little stuck-up, Japan wouldn’t :)
As always, tough question is tough. However, I think that I’d be a combo of Germany and Hungary.
Germany: Strong, intelligent, a bit shy and socially awkward, kind except when angered/annoyed
Hungary: While she is a female, I think a lot of the Countries around her don’t always see her that way/forget that she’s not just one of the guys because she’s a strong fighter and and has a strong spirit. This especially applies to people like Prussia.
OK, so I know he’s probably pretty much everyone’s answer for this one, but that just means he’s the perfect shopping buddy! He has a fun personality and likes clothes and shopping (we assume), and he could shop for both a boy or a girl!
He’d just be fun to spend the whole day with, and he wouldn’t spend all of it being entirely self-centered like some other nations that shall remain nameless *coughamericaandprussiacough*
This one is soooo hard!! >.< There are a lot of characters I adore, but in the end there’s only so many that would actually work for me in a romantic relationship.
So I know this is gonna throw everyone who knows me for a loop, but I actually think Spain would be the best.
As shallow as this may sound I feel like I have a lot of personality similarities to Romano. I get upset/angry when I’m embarrassed about things, though I do like being told sweet/embarrassing things. But not by just anybody! And for Romano, that somebody is Spain. Someone much less uptight and more carefree, but who is also very concerned with Romano’s feelings, rather than just being obliviously in his own, perfect happy little world all the time.
But one should remember that he is a member of the Bad Friends Trio, so he does have a devious side too, which I think is also good for me. This depth of character means that he is more than one-dimensional, capable of a larger range of emotions while still meshing well personality wise.
Ok so now I’m going to end my blabbering about how I’m like Romano and Antonio would make a good match for me even though I usually go for Iggy or Ludwig. Kthxbai.
I can’t just choose one, that’d be crazy! Instead I have like, a, hierarchy. The characters at the top are England and Germany. Notice how they’re both tsundere…. and the halves of my OTPs….
After them comes Prussia and Sweden. Then it’s Canada, Lithuania, Italy…the list goes on :3
Seriously though, I don’t know how I could not love England. He’s been strong, weak, proud and unsure, almost ruler of the world and an old crotchety poof. He’s sexy, adorable, and cares more than he dares to ever let on.
And then there’s Germany. Tough, manly, socially awkward and modestly caring Germany. He has a good work ethic and knows how to get things done. And he’s also a good friend, little as he knows how to be one. He’s the hard-ass with a soft spot, and I could just melt away at his awkwardness…. <3
I’d also like to note that my heritage consists of (more or less): 1/2 German, 1/4 English and 1/4 Irish. Coincidence?
